August and the start of September had been hard. Just when I thought trials were still few months away, the exam timetable was already handed into our hands. Sigh. Life consisted of nothing but revision books instead. Sometimes, I really wonder how could people survive without their gadgets during exams. All I know my phone has been my best friend ever since the tension started. Work hard, play hard; this always sticks in my mind. But well, maybe work a little harder? I do hope my efforts paid off this time, especially those Science subjects that I am (and will always be) afraid of.
I still remember the last Sunday before trials and I had like countless panic attacks and no, they weren't just ughhh, exam's in two days kind of fear, they were like those OH MY GOD HOLY SHEEEAT IT STARTS ON TUESDAY thoughts. The notion wasn't welcomed. Anyway, fingers crossed for the coming real thing. Random pictures for now.
1) SOULed out. It was quite crowded when we first entered with people having birthday parties for their kids. Despite the atmosphere, it was irrefutable that I enjoyed every bite of my meal. I love it when my fam' decides to dine in night-cafes with all the dim lights and have endless conversations.
2) Danu's gift which was filled with everyone's birthday essays. I hope you like it lol.
3) I subscribed to Nerdy Nummies for quite some time now, and I'm hooked. TOTALLY HOOKED. Have you ever seen her baking videos? She has the best recipes and cupcakes. After watching some of them, I had the sudden urge to bake and without hesitation, I was out for ingredients shopping with Mom's help. During the baking session, she was constantly laughing and yelling at me for creating such a mess so it was fortunate that they turned out better than I expected, although they're a little too sweet. Hah, come at me bro. The frosting looked pretty bad but trust me, it tasted so goooood. I'll try harder, I promise.
4) Zenip turned two years old last week. Glad he has grown accustomed to us and I can't wait to see another smaller version of him the next few months <3 I love this cutie pie.
5) Here comes the final touch. I came across a drama D.O from EXO is starred in which has a psychiatric-medical-romance storyline. I never knew this could climb up to my top Korean dramas list because I was never interested in melodramas but THIS is an exception. I finished 14 episodes in two days right before its final airing and I was so miserable because I wondered what I was going to do with my life without having them to broadcast a new episode every week.
It's Okay, That's Love got me weeping with tears as soon as things started getting worse and both leads fell into depression. Their acting skills were awesome. Hands down to Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. I really wish they'll win the Best Couple Award this year, I ship them so hard *sobs*. And can we take a moment to cry over how friggin perfect and stunning Jo In Sung is? Especially when he purposely grooves to the music as a radio DJ. Damn I love his character.
One more thing, D.O seriously did a great job potraying Kang Woo <3 I need to see him accepting more drama role offers and stands out. Sigh, I'll miss the casts.
