A New Chapter

Last two weeks, I was brought to a few colleges' open days. I thought I was going to collapse because there were too many course choices I can't even- Just why can't all of them have balanced advantages? *sobs* If I were to make a final decision now, I'm sorry, I don't think I would be able to give any unambiguous answers. Lol. But at least, I'm adamant about not heading to any of the Sciences and Design. Maybe some new experiences on Business and Accounts would do me some good. One more thing, I'm taking my driving test next Wednesday so wish me luck! My fingers literally felt like rusting while I was going through the book. Does anyone mind giving some advises regarding the allergy of thick books? No? Okay. I KNEW I WAS THE ONLY ONE HAVING THAT. This is just plain sad.

I really wish I could make a decision right now rather than clutching on to the thought that things will soon be sorted out at the end. There are just times when I feel I'm not exactly ready to face the real world. I wonder what would have happened to me the next few months if I'd taken the wrong step? Will I choose the right pathway?

Urghhh.

Let's staph; and rewinddd. Life after spm iz guuuud. I can eat, sleep. play and repeat. Don't forget the drama and outing marathons. Good times. We had a scrumptious spread near Sri Hartamas when we were checking out some colleges. A small cafe owned by a Japanese-American family. The atmosphere was cold with deadly music. The only thing that's pissing me off was their attitude towards customers. I'd give it a one out of ten. Apart from that, the food was guuuud.

Okay, this. THIS. THE BEST OUTING EVER. Karaoke session was once in a rainbow unicorn moon so I had blast. Just when I thought I was the craziest among them. Lol. Totally put ourselves into shame in front of everyone else with ze aweshum dancing skills. #cuzweswagliddat

Buttercream making was successful! A big thanks to my cousin for suggesting Cupcake Jemma. Her baking creations are simply mind-blowing. I wasn't able to find a suitable recipe for a perfectly white buttercream before this but this is an exception. Check her out guys. I was planning to dye them in five colours but ended up with only pastel pink and purple. Such lovely colours omg. Okay, I think it's time to switch flavous because my fam's like WHAAAT? CHOCOLATE AGAIN?

Greetings from London! This little guy is still in the UK. I'm missing him loads.

Journey

Eleven years of school life, having to wake up early in the morning and sleeping late so often that I forgot we had to make everything worth watching when one day our life flashes before our eyes. Days passed, we graduated, and those months of exams torture are over. If I say those days did not give me a nostalgic vibe, I would be lying. Along the way, I met people who I confided in, I met friends who I really treasured from the bottom of my heart. You guys, thanks for staying by this lamest, awkwardest friend of yours' side. Now, there aren't anymore truancy games, no more having to stab teachers' backs at its best, no more being together at school. That is how the journey of life goes.

Okay, enough of emotional roller coasters. Time for some flashbacks.

I had FINALLY graduated on the 11th of October. It was great attending to an official event since it has been ages since I went to one.

Graduation outfit.

Welfieeee! Went to a meaningless trip consisted of nothing but so. not. fun activites with the fam during the start of October. There was nothing we could do except for eating and wandering around aimlessly. Strayed from place to place but still couldn't find anything interesting. Well, experiences.

Looking forward to next year's February.

And back to school. It was the last day in Dinamik. I remember I came in unrecognized, seeing unfamiliar faces, being so uncomfortable without my close buds; I was depressed two years ago being placed in a class full of people whom I had nothing in common with. Yeah, it changed slowly. Things eventually got better :) I've met a bunch of crazy good friends and learnt a lot of new stuff. It was a part of growing up I guess. Took selfies with mah mates before I headed out.

This was my place throughout the whole spm process. Last one on the class' list. Silently took a picture on the same day. It had to be in black and white, yes. Eleven years being here with just one motive: get pass spm and rule the world. Just kidding.

"The field I once proved my abilities and championship skills"

The lafly gang on the last day of Friday tuition. Seriously, what would have become of me without the teachers in Martin. Those were the best teachers one could ever find. I'm looking forward to visit them soon, although they wouldn't be remembering my name hahah *shrugs*

These are the junkbuds, extra classes team and my favourite people  I could sit down and annoy them for like forever. Thanks for all the laughter and good times, mates.

Little Things

August and the start of September had been hard. Just when I thought trials were still few months away, the exam timetable was already handed into our hands. Sigh. Life consisted of nothing but revision books instead. Sometimes, I really wonder how could people survive without their gadgets during exams. All I know my phone has been my best friend ever since the tension started. Work hard, play hard; this always sticks in my mind. But well, maybe work a little harder? I do hope my efforts paid off this time, especially those Science subjects that I am (and will always be) afraid of.

I still remember the last Sunday before trials and I had like countless panic attacks and no, they weren't just ughhh, exam's in two days kind of fear, they were like those OH MY GOD HOLY SHEEEAT IT STARTS ON TUESDAY thoughts. The notion wasn't welcomed. Anyway, fingers crossed for the coming real thing. Random pictures for now.

1) SOULed out. It was quite crowded when we first entered with people having birthday parties for their kids. Despite the atmosphere, it was irrefutable that I enjoyed every bite of my meal. I love it when my fam' decides to dine in night-cafes with all the dim lights and have endless conversations.

2) Danu's gift which was filled with everyone's birthday essays. I hope you like it lol.

3) I subscribed to Nerdy Nummies for quite some time now, and I'm hooked. TOTALLY HOOKED. Have you ever seen her baking videos? She has the best recipes and cupcakes. After watching some of them, I had the sudden urge to bake and without hesitation, I was out for ingredients shopping with Mom's help. During the baking session, she was constantly laughing and yelling at me for creating such a mess so it was fortunate that they turned out better than I expected, although they're a little too sweet. Hah, come at me bro. The frosting looked pretty bad but trust me, it tasted so goooood. I'll try harder, I promise.

4) Zenip turned two years old last week. Glad he has grown accustomed to us and I can't wait to see another smaller version of him the next few months <3 I love this cutie pie.

5) Here comes the final touch. I came across a drama D.O from EXO is starred in which has a psychiatric-medical-romance storyline. I never knew this could climb up to my top Korean dramas list because I was never interested in melodramas but THIS is an exception. I finished 14 episodes in two days right before its final airing and I was so miserable because I wondered what I was going to do with my life without having them to broadcast a new episode every week.

It's Okay, That's Love got me weeping with tears as soon as things started getting worse and both leads fell into depression. Their acting skills were awesome. Hands down to Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. I really wish they'll win the Best Couple Award this year, I ship them so hard *sobs*. And can we take a moment to cry over how friggin perfect and stunning Jo In Sung is? Especially when he purposely grooves to the music as a radio DJ. Damn I love his character.

One more thing, D.O seriously did a great job potraying Kang Woo <3 I need to see him accepting more drama role offers and stands out. Sigh, I'll miss the casts.

Jo's Thirty Three

V I N T A G E

13th July marks my best-loved aunt's birthday. We had planned a steamboat dinner since it has always been her favourite. Wait, I mean MY WHOLE ENTIRE FAMILY's favourite. Mom literally spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen to get everything done and prepared. She's awesome.

What's the best when it comes to family feasts? You could always have fun. Sometimes, I really wish we could do this everyday. Being with your loved ones, sharing stories and taking lottts of pictures.

So we decided to have a mini photoshoot..

Time for the cake...

Tonight's biggest surprise would probably be the cake my another aunt had made. It was mind-blowing. I'm not trying to brag here but she is seriously a gifted baker lol. Come on, how could you even come up with such an amazing birthday cake?

As you can see, she had baked two of them. This was a rose swirl cake.

I didn't manage to try Blueberry Green Tea as I was too in love with the chocolate one instead *wipes tears*. Okay, that's all for today.

Happy Birthday again to Jo YiYi We Love You.

Road Trip Part 1 || Lost World of Tambun

Flashback.

I absolutely love family road trips. It has been ages since we all went for one. Well, it's here again! The Lost World of Tambun. Picked a plain sailing destination because we only had two days (ugh working people). It kicked off pretty awesome despite that.

Before entering...

In the waterpark...

Let the rides begin!

It would be fun, they said.

JUMPSHOT

HotSprings Spa after the rain.

You know, if only grandmapas could manage the cameras during our turn for water rides. Sad case hahah.

Street food for the night. Take a look at ma face guys.

Next morning's breakfast at the hotel...

We went straight to town to grab for snacks after breakfast. We were like gobbling down all the food during the journey back home hahah. Had a great time :D Credits to everyone for the pictures.
