Eighteenth, College & Food Hunting

One thing to stress out, sooo many updates so little timeee. However, clicking in to my first entry got me like OKAY I HAVE TO DO THIS.

I am finally eighteen, legal and the good news is I'm still stupid. To those who are still tolerating, I just love you. Celebrated my birthday in Aloft KL Sentral with the fam-bam and it was a blast. Credits to the Mom who prepared everything without a word; the cake as usual, and the surprise presents. Thank you to those who took time to edit videos, wished and showered me with gifts. I freaking love everyone of you. Thinking about being twenty-one in three years time freaks me out by the way, I'm growing sooo old. Where was the time I cried over those sold out McDonalds' ice cream? But then once again, I still do.

In heels but still shorter than you.

Blessed.

Ohana.

Something which never changed.

And to my college friends, thanks for everything  ♥  Especially the card written with Chinese words all over, Y'ALL DEFINITELY KNOW I GOT A MASTER DEGREE IN CHINESE WRITING.

With my beloved cousins on an outing day. I'm glad we're still close after all these years. They brought me up here and we took so many too-cool-for-you pictures which I wish I could post them all here but I'll just save them up so that we would have something to laugh over after a decade. Ugh, why does everyone's appearance changed for the better and then there's me.

Someone did a great job lowering down my self-esteem :D

AS IS OVERRRR. Went for food-hunting at The Library Coffee Bar with le besties and I was so happy I paid for their food. Lol joking I didn't. We actually complained about how miserable AS was throughout the meal how we hated the subjects which destroyed our lives. Good thing was we made it out! We're currently having our semester break now and no one's planning an outing. Such good friends. Much love. The food was 7/10 but the cafe's decorations were awesome. I was too embarrassed to go around snapping pictures so might as well just stay in our place and take selfies.

Gah, I luff this pic!

More food-hunting activity going on with them. Reasons why I'm growing sideways. Reasons why I have a love-hate relationship with my friends.

Brownies and waffles just make you *heavy breathing*

Food hunting part 342195 with dada, mama, and brabra. At the Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad Wolf. We don't usually go faraway for food so they must have gone crazy that day. I asked mom for a candid but she deliberately twirled up some spaghetti with her fork and did this. 'A' for effort.

This was gooooood.

At 10 GRAM with aunt and uncle.

Finally, the last day of semester two :( So much feels. One more sem and we're done. No words can explain how grateful I am to have this bunch of people by my side throughout my college life.

Dayum, guess who's in a dress.

Hahaha these two who were asked for help to take 'nice' pictures for us and I ended taking nice pictures for them. Tsk tsk.

Credits to Ben again.

Still had to Maths on the last period, lol.

Eat to Live or Live to Eat?

This title was all I could think of while scrolling through what was going to be posted here.

Food. And more food.

I cannot believe trials have officially ended last week like woah everyone was actually on the topic 'how to get through trials' two months ago. Apparently my family's like aren't you immune to class tests and exams already? True, but I still get panic attacks and screw up all the papers as usual. A Levels, no joke. At least they give you a week of holidays to calm you down due to post-trials stress.

So here I am, blogging about 'stuff' that calms me down *smirk*

First of all, the sweetness-overload macarons which were successfully baked. Thanks to some of my college mates for being eager to gulp down the whole thing because their reactions were so priceless due to the amount of sugar. If we are close enough for you to know what kind of addiction I have, this is well, expected. Hahaha.

These were actually fun to play with.

Then there's Mom who did ^ for this arse's birthday. Look at this arse pretending to be grateful. All grown up but still have to be tolerated because HATERS FOR LYFE

By the way, Aunt Catherine and Wilson came back from the UK! Unfortunately it was during my trials so I actually neglected them for two weeks straight oh my god couldn't be more sorry about it. Brought the cousin bro out for some Japanese food at MAIU and we ended up ordering five times the amount food shown in the pictures.

All these comfort food at Butter Up and Le Garden.

Okay, so last week me and these awesome peeps went to 'celebrate' the end of trials at Red Bean Bag, ordered fancy food and spent the whole morning engaging in small talks and gossips. Godness I miss these good old times. Poor Doris had to drive us out again so all thanks to her guys.

After that, we went for ice cream at Whimsical  Geez, all these dessert hunters. No doubt I'll always be the one who orders a chocolate-flavoured ice cream without even looking at the list of desserts. More like chocolate is the only flavour that exists for me. Cravings satisfied. One more thing, what I love about these friends I have?

*food came*

'Dude you should go ahead and take a picture',
'Omg I think this angle is the best',
'Wait let me adjust the stuff on the table before that cause it'll look way cooler',

*spent a whole 10 minutes on that*

'This looks damn nice gotta post it on Instagram'.

Some pictures from last month...

Right before trials where everyone was an A+ student with revision books in their hands all the time.
Oh, and gadgets.

Till next time!

Travel Diary Part 1 || Tokyo, Japan

What's up guys! It has already been halfway through the year and *smack* that's exactly how long I've neglected this blog of mine. But thanks to God's blessing, (kidding) semester one's break is finally here and you have no idea how many ages have passed in my own world since it came. I repeat, THE SEMESTER BREAK IS HERE and what does that mean?

NO BOOKS FOR TWO WEEKS.

And blog.

Taking you back to February, where this trip to the districts and islands of Tokyo happened. JAPAN: checked! Pictures were taken mostly by my uncle with his Canon EOS 600D and edited by me. Anyway, I'm not going to do the 'day one to ten' entries because it would take me centuries and I'd feel more magical this way ♥ (Nah I'm the laziest person on Earth). The first day when we arrived in Tokyo, we were drained; jet lag followed by extreme hunger. After checking in, we headed for some hot Ramen noodles located opposite our hotel straight away and continued gobbling down all the snacks we bought during the night walks. The next day, zest all the way! We sauntered through Shinjuku and let me tell you, there wasn't a night where we returned to the hotel without trudging back. After that, Kawagoe was our next destination. I guess it was my all time favorite because during the month we went to Tokyo, it was winter and the weather was kind of a let down. However, Kurazukuri's Zone gave me a comfortable village atmosphere with the castle town vibes. It felt great being there. And I even got myself an ice cream (MELON), during the cold weather, yes.

Next stop: Tokyo Disneyland! Okay I know it's a must to head here but seriously look at the amount of tourists. Well, I couldn't blame them because *points at ourselves* we are one of the things we hate. Anyway, the rides were awesome indeed, especially the Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster and the Pirates of the Carribean boat ride. They totally left me with nostalgic memories. Meiji Shrine up ahead. It was like a spacious and serene walking path and you'll reach the main hall with huge bubbly round-ish trees occupying every corner after a ten minutes walk. We even witnessed a traditional wedding that took place there. During the night, we took a train to Shibuya and felt the hustle and bustle of the city but despite that, everyone there shows affability and I could see why Japan is loved.

Right up next: Romance Car to Hakone which is located above the mountain. Here comes the coolest part, the place was actually filled with snow and permeated with mist. After checking in another hotel, we took the Tozan cable car to Owakudani and I swear the cold was unbearable with the wind. Then we went for the Lake Ashi sightseeing sail in a grand-looking ship and of course, snapping pictures. By the way, we got a chance to put on Kimonos and enjoyed a steamboat dinner in the hotel.

I'm glad we survived the freezing cold ship sailing.

Just being Japanese.

Days after, we went to the Gotemba Premium Outlet and were able to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. Then Asakusa, where the Sensoji Temple is located. At night, we headed to Tokyo Solamachi by the Skytree Line. While Dad and Mom went up to the Tokyo Skytree, I legitimately forced my bro to go in to the 360 degree theatre in the Planetarium with me because the theme they had was about Stars and Universe and hory sheat, best experience ever! They even have relaxing music followed by adjustable seats so it is really worth coming here.

Next station: Odaiba. We have the colourful pastel Ferris Wheel, Trick Art Museum and the Venus Fort shopping mall with Venice, Italy-themed buildings. For the last two days, we took stroll around Ginza and paid a visit to Ueno Zoo.

Guess who's the happiest after purchasing lots of stuff?

Asakusa

I have good photography skills huh *smirk*

One last thing to make this trip a blessing. Their heavenly food. Believe it or not, my mouth is watering right now. My onigiriii, my curry riceeee, ALL MINE. Phew, that's it. I'm done with my Tokyo trip. I'm the happiest person right now.

Anyway, I'm doing well in college, except for the grades. My grades are dying. Wish me luck in Semester 2! Pretty sure I'm going to collapse in the middle of studying A2. Well, it's the process that counts.

Went a bit hipster with Doris during the lunch break.

Till next time! Ending this post with another piece of heaven.
